The Demotivational picture game - Instructions

The Demotivational poster Game is a feature for awarding points to users that come up with the best caption to a blank image that you upload to the Demotivational Game album.

whereby members can upload funny / demotivational pictures (but not yet in demotivational poster format) to the DEMOTIVATIONAL GAME album. Other members can put in what they think would be a good title and description by typing their caption idea in the comments section below that picture.
Once a member has put in a great caption that pleases the member who originally uploaded it, the member who uploaded the picture can award points to the person who put in the best caption. The picture will then have the winners username displayed beneath along with the amount of points awarded. A leader board is also available to show all members who have received the most points.

How to play:

Upload a blank image (meaning not turned into a demotivator yet) into the DEMOTIVATIONAL GAME album. So long as the picture was uploaded to the correct album, the uploader will see a button named award beneath the title area of the picture.

All other members will see the words “no one won this the game yet !” until the award has been given.

Members will place their idea's for the images caption in the comments section beneath the picture until the uploader chooses one as being a winner. The member who uploaded the picture can then click the award button and choose from the list a member to award the points to. The list only contains the members who have commented and does not show the member who uploaded the picture. This is by design to prevent the uploader from awarding points to themselves after making a comment.

Once points have been awarded the members name is displayed beneath the picture description along with the amount of points awarded. This way members know that the game is up.

The member who uploaded the original image may now turn the blank image into a demotivator (using the winning caption) using the CROP THIS IMAGE AND MAKE A DEMOTIVATOR button that is below the image. It would be nice to give credit to the person who came up with the caption in the description of the demotivator you're making. (Not the description / caption that is ON the poster, just the description you type after you've uploaded it and are selecting what album to put it in)

Leader board:

All the points are totalled up and added to the leader board. This board is available to all members. There is only one leader board, so if you are running more than one game all the points are shown here by member and points. The leader is at the top. There is only one button and this shows the top 20 leaders or click again to show all the participating members. Eventually these points will be used to reward members who won lots of contests.
